entered BDRA foster care it was determined that she is able to see. She is, however, experiencing age-related changes with her eyes.

Information:
December 2010 - Faline is a lucky dog to be a BDRA foster! She was picked up as a stray. We believe she has been terribly mistreated in the past. In our foster home, she is learning that she doesn't have to be afraid of people anymore.
She has been in foster care only a week and makes progress every day! She follows us around the house now and will ask to be picked up by putting her paws on our legs. She likes nothing better than to sit in a lap and be cuddled in a blanket. She
is crate trained and she sleeps all night in her crate without an
accident - and is just about completely housebroken during the day. She
will walk on a leash, sometimes taking the lead and sometimes being
led. She loves to eat and has begun to gain some weight!
She is looking for a permanent home where she will be treated with a lot of patience, understanding and love. She would do very well in a house where she is the only dog but also would be fine with most other dogs. She
shouldn't be in a home with children, especially young children, as she
is sensitive to sudden and/or surprising noises and actions around her,
although we think she will get better and better with this over time.
We
can tell, just in one week, that she very much wants to be part of a
forever family and to have a chance to have a wonderful life. Please consider adopting little Faline!
