My name is Holly. I am 8 years young and the tinest little girl. I am a bichon/poodle mix and weigh 8 lbs. Small Paws Rescue saved me from a high kill shelter. My previous owners dropped me off there, in terrible condition. I was matted from head to paw with sores all over my back. I had to be shaved but guess what, all my sores are gone! Thanks to Small Paws!  I also have PDA, which is a condition that causes degeneration to my retinas(eyes). This condition causes the loss of night vision, that progresses to day vision.. the Dogtor says, I won't lose all my vision. There is nothing that can be surgically done.  This does not worry me, because I get around great..I love to be with my foster mom. She says, I am like a baby. I love to be held and will cuddle right next to you.
I love to sleep in the big bed, snuggled right up to my foster mom. I am housetrained and walk good on a leash.
If you are looking for a great companion, I am your girl..

Meet Ray Charles:  One handsome hunk of a Min Pin, super friendly and easy going, a real sweetheart.  Ray just happens to be blind, but I'm not sure he really gives a hoot about that.  We had him for over 24 hours before we even noticed something a bit different about him.  He is amazingly well adapted to this disability, has learned to use all his other senses to seemingly map and memorize his environment.  Ray inspires us with his playful, joyful exuberance.  He'll play endlessly with toys and other dogs.  He is fearless!  In our home Ray has been affectionate and respectful to all humans and canines.    Ray has been quite willing to do his business outside despite the fact that the temp is in single digits and the yard is covered with ice and snow. He'll happily sleep in a crate, in his own bed, or in the big bed with the rest of the family, sleeps like a rock either way.  We have fallen hard for this charmer and are looking for a very special forever home for our Ray Charles.  The lucky family who adopts Ray will be blessed and inspired.  Ray is 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on all vaccines.  He is being fostered in the Kansas City, MO area.
