Blind Dogs See With Their Hearts!

Odessa
Odessa is a sweet 6-7 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. She ended up in a shelter in Texas and is going to be heading to her foster home in Virginia on Feb 6 and 7. Please stay tuned for more information!
UPDATE! Odessa has arrived. Her foster home reports:
Miss Odessa has turned out to be another perfect lady!  She's completely house and crate trained and so far has had wonderful manners.  She was checked out at the vet today where we found out that she's 15-20 pounds overweight.  She was started on heartworm treatment and the Doc said she might be a candidate for cataract surgery!  I'm hoping to get her seen by a specialist asap to see if we can restore some of her sight.  Odessa has done well with her foster siblings which include 3 blind dachshunds (male and female) and a 70 pound pit/aussie.  She never meets a stranger and expects to get some luvin from all!  She doesn't seem to like cats very much (or maybe she likes them too much?), so I think she needs a home without them.  She has started playing with my pit/aussie girl and she loves squeaky toys and rawhides (what normal dog doesn't?)!  Her teeth are beautiful and I don't think she's much more than 6 years old.  She isn't completely blind and gets around great!  Let me know if you have any questions and I'll answer them as honestly as I can.  Please consider adopting this sweetheart!!  You won't regret it!
