Smudge is a 6-8 month old puppy who is almost totally blind. She ended up at a shelter in North Carolina, who listed her as a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix. She looks like maybe some sort of terrier mix to us.
She is only about 10 pounds at the most.
Smudge is now settled in her foster home in NJ.
She is a fantastic dog with the sweetest temperament and lots of personality! She loves to dance, goes up and down steps with no problem, and can jump up on the sofa and settle herself in quite comfortably!
She can see some things.
She currently lives with 5 Siberian Huskies, and is doing well with them.
She is SO much cuter than her pictures. You have to meet her.
